From pictures to pots, tea towels to tea lights, Schee in the Belgiches Viertal has got it all. But it’s the prints that really stand out. Walk into this hipster emporium and you’ll be instantly drawn to the wall full of pictures: from floor to ceiling, there’s a print to suit just about any taste. Prices start at around €25 and they are all limited edition screen prints or posters from local and international artists.
And then there’s all the other stuff in the shop: funky stationary and cards, handmade pots, plates and cups, craft wine and beer, chocolate, soap, candles and much more. It’s all you’d expect from the ever-hip Belgisches Viertel with its vintage barbershops, boutiques and cafes, but Schee has got something more: it’s like an art gallery where the pictures on the wall are not just desirable, they’re also affordable and any one of them could be yours. Bet you won’t leave empty handed.
